Hello!!!
So this is Design Blogazine #002!
Today's topic will be about Interior 3D Illustration and visualization.
With the help of softwares and tools for designing, in whatever form of design be it interior, architecture, industrial, advertising, etc. we can visualize an outcome of a project without having to move a muscle. Just fingers. On the computer. =P
The technology is so great nowadays, sometimes it's hard to tell if a picture is for real or a CAD drawing.
Take a look at these few. =)What do u guys think? cekappp right.... :)
none of these are my work btw. credits go to the very talented 3D illustrators out there.
Mine I'll show next time ;P
This is my job. I do freelance 3D illustrations, something that I've never thought I'd be doing for a living because I didnt know there was such a specific category of design that I can venture in when I first took up Interior Design. I enjoy every minute of it. It's a continuous learning process. There is always something new that you can learn to help translate that idea in ur head into reality.
Thats all for this week!
Adios Amigos!

hey there!

I've decided that I will post a weekly Design Blogazine on this site. :D

It will be a collection of some of the smartest, most beautiful and creative, quirky but fun, environment-loving, beyond wildest imagination design ideas by some of the best designers in the industry to date.

It will encompass all forms of art and design from interiors to architecture, photography, industrial, advertising, fashion, fine art etc.

I read alot of design blogs and magazines so thought of sharing some of the best ones here.
at least once a week! (i hope! ;P)

For Design Blogazine #001, we will start off with Terrafugia Transition®.
Ever got stuck in a bad traffic and wondered to yourself.... "Damn, wish my car could just take off and fly....."
dreams do come true! :D
meet....

1. The Transition® Roadable Aircraft!
A world with flying cars is now that much closer thanks to the new terrafugia transition!
A street legal flying car. It can fly in the air like a small plane or fold its wings for driving down the road.
How cool is that!
The body of the car might look kinda ahem.. not so pleasing to the eye... but the function is so damn cool it would be a stepping stone to a whole new age of transportation. (think about Star Wars... or maybe The Jetsons...)
for more info, visit : Terrafugia's Official Website

2. Viktor & Rolf
Viktor & Rolf is an Amsterdam-based fashion brand. Founded in 1993 by designers Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren, well-known for their fantastical and concept-based designs.
Here I'm going to introduce you to their one-of-a-kind Viktor & Rolf boutique! It blew me away when I first saw it. Surreal....
Interior : Viktor&Rolf Boutique
Designers : Viktor&Rolf
Location : Milan, Italy
Note : No, I didnt upload those pictures upside down. It would look like any other designer store if it was. The concept was, to turn a normal boutique into a "Whaaaatt??! thats crazy!!" boutique.
same materials, with just a little switching of placement. using wood parquet flooring on the ceiling, chandeliers sticking out from the floor and installing the walkway arches the other way round and use it as seating area, while installing real chairs.... on the ceiling.
Wondering how they display their clothes then?? the right way up. Just like any other store ;)
THAT... is one heck of a concept.

So I decided to start a new blog.

The old one is getting a little stale from all the years.

Need a new identity for the person that had evolved throughout those years. ;P

Let me reintroduce myself again :)

Hi. :D My name is Jacq. I'm a designer by education and a dreamer by nature. I am a loner by choice, but still my friends and family are my life. :)

I enjoy watching the world and its people. The different cultures and beliefs.

I feel a strong connection with architecture, design, and art. Especially when it has touches of Surrealism.

I am inspired by nature and the universe. It's quirks, unexplainable events, and it's uncertainty. It's all so beautiful.

And I believe that whatever we were made to believe in, the real reason for our existence is to be guardians of the earth. We were made with intelligence so that we could love, care, nurture, and make wise decisions when it comes to protecting the well-being of the earth and not for the selfish development of humankind.

I believe in GOD. I believe in His presence but not what people say of Him. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion on this subject and I am entitled to mine too. I can write a whole essay on this. Let's not start ;)

I am driven by passion and love as well as self-expression through creative process.

I need to feel constantly inspired in order to feel that life is worth living.

ohhh and I love foooooodd!!! :D haha.

I hope that u guys would enjoy reading this blog as much as i would enjoy writing it.

have a nice day! :D

Love,

Jacq
